WIP CHOICE | When the Ground Shifts: Leading, Rebuilding, and Defining Moments of Change
In the parking industry, change doesn’t wait. New owners bring new expectations. Mergers, exits, and shifting roles have impact. Cultures blend, consumers expect more, and teams shift in public and private sectors and everything in between. The question is, how do you lead through it?

In this candid panel discussion, parking leaders share real-world experiences and valuable lessons learned from leadership shifts, ownership changes, organizational restructures, mergers, acquisitions, and career disruption. Hear the opportunities and challenges of what worked, what failed. Lean into engaging and vulnerable conversations about how to steady yourself, your teams, perform with confidence, remain authentic, and move forward with purpose.

Attendees will gain practical strategies to lead through uncertainty, support colleagues, reframe setbacks, evaluate new opportunities, and build a career that can weather change. The session will help attendees add to their leadership tool set and learn to:
  1. Lead through transition by stabilizing teams, communicating clearly, and maintaining trust during ambiguity.
  2. Build career resilience by reframing setbacks, strengthening personal brand, and using networking to create new opportunities.
  3. Expand business knowledge by considering legal, market strategies, financial, cultural, and values-based factors during career or organizational change.
  4. Use mentorship and networks strategically by understanding how mentors, sponsors, peers, and industry relationships can help professionals navigate uncertainty and open new doors.

WIP CHOICE | Boomers to Zoomers: Cracking the Code of Generational Service in Parking
Parking customers span Boomers to Zoomers – and one service style won’t satisfy them all. This session breaks down how generational communication habits shape perceptions of service, loyalty, and frustration in parking.

Use consumer data and real-world examples to learn why both younger and older customers tend to be the most outspoken – and most prone to poor experiences. Explore how tone, channel, and response speed matter: Gen Z and Millennials expect fast, digital resolution, while Baby Boomers value reassurance, clarity, and respect.

Challenge the myth that “tech comfort” automatically drives satisfaction and learn how hybrid (human + tech) service bridges gaps.

Leave with practical training tactics and KPIs to improve satisfaction and reduce complaints.

The session begins with a brief check-in and icebreaker, then participants help set the agenda by surfacing their most pressing questions and objectives.
