Leading Through the Experience of Others: Coaching, Training, and Mentoring for Success
Monday, September 18 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Learn how mentoring can be both a powerful professional development tool for an individual as well as a leadership skill set for your team. This program will examine how and why you are never too old or too young to be mentored or to become a better version of yourself. It will demonstrate the key role that mentoring can play in developing leadership skills for your team.
With over 20 years in the sports industry including 15 years at NIKE, Sarah credits much of her success to the mentors who guided her, the coaches who challenged her, and the comprehensive training that shaped her acumen. Sarah will delve deep into her own personal journey to underscore the transformative power of guidance, coaching, and skill-building. As someone who has both benefited from and championed these elements throughout her career, Sarah offers a unique, firsthand perspective on their undeniable impact.
This program will:
• Delve into the significance of mentorships for career development and advancement.
• Illustrate the steps to create a mentorship initiative for your team.
