Zero-Tolerance Policy
To ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all, NPA will enforce a strict professional code of conduct for all attendees and participants at the 2022 NPA Convention & Expo.
Strict penalties include, but not limited to, a warning or event removal will be enforced for any participant exhibiting harassing behavior, with no possibility for financial reimbursement.
The conference staff is available to assist with any concerns you may have.

At a minimum, the event staff will consider any and all of the following behaviors an instance of harassment:

Strict No-Suitcasing Policy
Any NPA Convention & Expo attendee (non-exhibitor) who is observed soliciting business in the trade show aisles will be asked to forfeit their badge and leave the show floor immediately.
Violators of these policies will be ejected from the show and charged the single-booth rate ($4,999 member/$5,999 nonmember), which must be paid prior to registering as an attendee, exhibitor, or sponsor at any future NPA conference or other event.
Please report any violation you observe to show management.
Definition of “Suitcasing”
Suitcasing at the NPA Convention & Expo is defined as any activity by one who has not paid an exhibition fee (i.e., purchased a booth) where the activity is designed to solicit or sell products or services to other exhibitors or attendees without authorization by NPA to engage in such solicitation. Suitcasing can occur by those who are registered as attendees or by parties misrepresenting their business or entity relationship to NPA.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols
All participants must follow all local and national guidelines while traveling. That means those set by transportation carriers, airports, and other transportation facilities being used.
All event participants should also follow everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of germs such as washing hands often or using sanitizer.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue for the duration of the event. And there will be enhanced sanitization steps taken throughout the course of the event – featuring a focus on “high-touch areas,” such as door handles, restrooms, and food and beverage areas.
The Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. ACCD is committed to implementing industry-leading safety and sanitization measures.
The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are both Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Star accredited facilities. The GBAC STAR program helps commercial and public facilities of all sizes establish and carry out an organized approach to cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention.
Physical distancing, activity limits, and crowd density controls are currently not required. Should we need to implement these measures, this will be first managed by methods such as using limited, staggered, or rotating shifts and attendance times.
In relation to the exhibit hall, to best balance current demand yet allow the greatest ease of enabling distancing/participation limitation measures should they become necessary, the following protocols have been established:
No booth sharing – only one company may purchase/occupy a booth.
Booths may be no larger than 20x20.
Participants will abide by enforcement measures such as putting on a mask when requested, quickly adhering to directions to distance from others, etc.
NPA has the right to update this policy at any time at its sole discretion and will follow, at a minimum, all applicable federal, state, local, and Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and requirements.
Failure to comply by these policies may result in removal from the event without refund.
