Press Policy
We welcome media coverage to share the latest innovations in parking.
NPA offers complimentary media access to the annual NPA Convention & Expo’s education sessions and Expo Hall for credentialed members of the press.
Registration is required. Access to ticketed events will be limited and prior permission must be received from NPA.
In order to conduct the verification process, press is encouraged to pre-register for the event, and pick-up their media badge onsite at the registration booth.
NPA reserves the right to deny any request for press access. Those deemed not qualified as press/media can still attend but will need to register and pay for registration through the registration area at the event.
Special accommodations for videography on the Expo Hall show floor may also be possible.

Media Qualifications
To receive a complimentary press registration, individuals must be a qualified representative from one of the following news organizations:
- News Publication
- Business Publication
- Newspaper
- Radio Station
- Television Station
And generally, they will have a title of editor, reporter, or editorial writer.
Those ineligible for a press pass include: marketing & sales managers, account executives, etc., publishers, bloggers, and advertising/PR agency personnel.
Credential Materials
One of the following must be presented for consideration for a press pass:
- An unexpired press pass with photo
- Business card with editorial title
- Press card issued by media organization
- A status verification letter from an editor or publisher (on company letterhead)
