Kick-Off Connectors

One of the best ways to connect with new prospects or peers is through common interests. This year’s gathering features unique networking opportunities with special events around town.

Enjoy some time to decompress and explore Austin before the big event.

Kick-off Connectors can be added to your convention registration for an additional fee. All of the events have limited space and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Kayaking Around Lady Bird Lake

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

What could be better than learning from a local while getting out on the water? This tour will be led by an experienced and highly entertaining guide who will take the group on a three-mile round-trip urban historical and eco tour.

It’s the perfect way to get to know Austin and other convention attendees from all perspectives. As we paddle East toward Downtown Austin, our experienced guide will share the history of the last 400 years of this stretch of the Colorado River.

On our return journey, we’ll explore the clear waters of Barton Creek, highlighting an abundance of plants, wildlife and fish that reside in the fourth-largest concentration of natural springs in Texas.

Weather and time permitting: an optional dip in Barton Springs (the 68-degree water that Austin is so famous for).
