Get a behind-the-scenes tour at one of the busiest parking operations at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport – the second-fastest growing airport in the United States. NPA member The Parking Spot manages several locations at the airport, providing shuttle services, off-airport parking, valet, and charging stations.
The Parking Spot management team will lead the tour, answer questions and guide you through their expansive parking operation.
They will showcase their new premium parking operation at the Austin East location. It features a forward-looking and sustainable surface parking design and includes careful water management practices to protect the Colorado River, 100% LED lighting, a storm management system, and other sustainable features in both its design and construction.
The team will also demonstrate its state-of-the-art shuttle services, and its mobile app reservation and messaging system – designed in-house by TPS’s tech team, that includes a host of business-traveler-friendly options such as expense report integration. The tour will also feature a discussion on TPS’ approach to customer service, employee engagement, and training opportunities.
Get an up-close and personal look at the city of Austin’s parking and mobility programs. Austin is one of the country’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas. The city has an extensive on and off-street parking operation and also manages a growing eBike and scooter program.
Members of Austin City’s Transportation Department will lead the tour which will focus on the city’s busy 2nd Street District – known for its bustling restaurant and entertainment areas.
