We sure do. You can find the mobile app in the Google Playstore or Apple App Store by searching for NPA2019 starting around mid-September.  The mobile app is simply the best and most convenient tool to find out what is happening at the convention, where it is happening and when. It also includes a list of the convention exhibitors and their booths number as well as the conference speakers, their bio’s and photos.

Welcome! You’ve made a wise choice. First, almost all the social activities in the conference program are free to conference attendees, so be sure to attend them as they are a great way to meet new colleagues, make friends, and widen your professional network.
Secondly, almost all activities are taking place at the Loews Sapphire Hotel so everything is easy to get to.
Thirdly, we have not one but two trade show floors – The Kingston Hall and the Mobility Lab. Be sure to visit both.
Finally, be sure to download the NPA Mobile App from the Google Playstore or the App Store. The app contains a complete list of every activity, conference session, social event, exhibitor and meeting taking place at the conference.

Yes, it will. The only education activities taking place off property are the parking facility tours to Walt Disney World, City or Orlando, and the University of Central Florida. Buses from these tours depart for the hotel lobby.

The 2020 NPA Annual convention will be held in New Orleans September 14 – 17, 2020.

The conference program is developed through the NPA Call for Presentations and in close cooperation with NPA committees and volunteers. The 2019 Call for Presentations is closed. It will open again in October and typically stays open though January.

For more information, including the submission process for the 2020 convention events, contact Eamon Connor eamonconnor@weareparking.org.

If you are an industry vendor walking the Expo Hall floors, and you are not exhibiting, NPA abides by a “No Suit-casing” rule. Any attendee who is observed soliciting business in the aisles or other places within the Expo Hall floors, other public spaces, or in another firm’s booth, will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties may apply.

The hotel is connected to Universal City Walk and from there you can access the themepark.

Guests staying at the hotel can either use the water taxi that operates every 15-20 minutes, or the bus (also operates every 15-20 minutes) or they can use the garden walkway to Citywalk which is the central hub for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.  It is approximately a 8-10 minute walk).

NPA ’s room bloc ends on September 23rd.  After that date rooms can be booked depending on availability but at the prevailing rate. NPA recommends that attendees book their rooms as early as possible.

After the room bloc closes rooms can be booked depending on availability but at the prevailing rate.
Note: NPA has two hotels, so check both for availability.

No, you do not. You can book at any hotel property you want - and Orlando has lots choices in that respect. However, it is way more convenient for you to be at the host hotel as that is where the tradeshow floor and conference program are located.

Staying at one of NPA hotels also helps the association’s room bloc and our ability to negotiate good rates at future expos.

No. Not very likely. These are scammers that prey on convention traffic. Sometimes they will book your room but later you will find out that you don’t have a room onsite or you pay additional fees.  These “room pirates” are extremely unscrupulous and are often long gone by the time the event rolls around.

Our best advice is to book inside the NPA room block on the NPA website, the benefits of our negotiated rates and concessions.
